Courage

Have you ever asked yourself,
If not now, then when?
Why risk it when I can sit behind the majority of men?
Breathe, they will judge you behind your back,
See, judged by everything they lack,
Speak, they will make a mockery of you,
Live, you could be one of the few,
Courage, if you want to create something new.

If this is stupidity,
Then what about those who remain in their same positions day after day?
If it will lead to a penalty,
What is the difference if you let others determine how you fade away?

If you want progress,
You need to take the first step out of this mess,
Society will criticise anyway,
So, why let others decide when you can determine your way?

Danbo Crossover Photo Composite

Did some photo composition recently with three photos. Never watched any of those shows, thought the character looks cute. Original photo was taken years ago with my first DSLR camera. More available at www.ysfaye.com

It’s a Wedding! Sketch

A really rough sketch that I’m going to paint digitally. Guess what this drawing is about!

Gudetama Gifts!

Received Gudetama gifts from friends and family. Happy birthday…to myself! 😛

One day older, everyday wiser (hopefully)! 😛

Tadom Glamping Panorama

Tadom Glamping Panorama

This photo’s taken with Fujifilm XT-30 camera. The place advertised itself as resort but glamping is a more accurate term for it. There are fun outdoor activities but sleeping there was no fun. By the time I came home, my body’s bitten by sandflies. Sandfly bites are worse than mosquitoes. They’re itchy and can spread if you scratch. They also last longer than mosquito bites and can leave marks.

Christ, the Risen

Bearing the sins of all men,
The treacherous deeds of thoughts, mouth and pen,
Your glory filled the Earth,
Yet blinded, people question your worth,
Not understanding the hand behind the science,
This world lacking in conscience,
Worshipped your creation,
And stamped on you who had Risen,
Even your followers used your name in vain,
Your loved ones adding more to your pain,
Yet they ask, why not me? why always me?
Me, me, me, that’s all they see,
And yet we wonder, the signs of dust and everything dying away,
Shows we are far away from the way,
Of the one who has raised,
All creations that lived.

Fallen Guardian

You were supposed to protect me,
But why does your beauty take priority?
I thought I knew you,
Less it seems as time flew,
Your weaknesses pushed everyone through the edge,
One by one they jumped over the hedge,
To flee what may be lost,
Desperation held on the most,
I stopped running to turn around,
To listen to the agonising sound,
Perhaps we should turn back,
Perhaps we should cut the guardian some slack,
For the qualities the guardian lack,
For in the fire, metal is forged,
Perhaps Guardians too, maybe not all is lost.

Snow Moon Photography

Took the ‘Snow Moon’ today with my Fujifilm camera. Wish I had a zoom lens >200mm.

“Friends”

Friends that we are,
They tell you they care,
Yet no feelings or actions they bare,
Not a word, not a sound,
How will connections be bound?
Drop after drop, they disappear,
And years after when they reappear,
How very awkward,
We are towards,
The friends we said we care,
Perhaps this is very much the expected scare.
Troubles filled you, they run,
Only when you are a clown, they bathe under you like the sun,
Then we’ll know if we are friends,
When it ends.

Monkey at Colmar

Spotted this cheeky monkey at Colmar, a much needed getaway.
