Archaeopteryx Hybrid (1hr 31mins Sketch) WIP

This is a continuation of the sketch from this post: 16mins Sketch

After further brainstorming, I decided to change the gender, age and species to a clumsy female youngling. I wanted a challenge. Neither acknowledged by humans nor Archaeopteryx, it has to learn how to live in the dangerous world.

I guess this falls into the survival genre.

It is not easy combining two species that have anatomies from both extreme ends. The way the human joints bend are the exact opposite of how the Archaeopteryx’s joints work in various areas.

Throne Of Fire and Blood

Throne Of Fire and Blood

I haven’t drawn for months and was feeling a bit rusty so this is good practice. Featuring Daenerys Stormborn from Game of Thrones, sketched with pencil and finished in Photoshop.

I watch the tv series although I would like to read the book too but since I didn’t have much time nor do I have the books, I’ll stick to watching for the time being.

Nimpus Dimpus (2011)

The problem with being a perfectionist is that I will not post something up until I am satisfied with it. I have learnt to use this to my advantage though. It was done in 2011 (2 years ago); I was thinking of improving it since it will be a waste to see the creative ideas left as they are, and probably reduce the file size as I go along with it too – 296mb.

Les Miserables Jean Valjean Quick Sketch

A Les Miserables Jean Valjean quick sketch done in 1hr 16mins. I have not sketched with my trusty mechanical pencil for a while so this is good practice. I watched Les Miserables recently and I have to say, I have never cried so much in a movie as such before. Stunning performances, all of them. Just remember to bring tissue boxes with you when you want to watch it.

I went in the cinema not knowing what to expect; well I knew that Anne Hathaway’s going to be in it but she turned out to be a sidekick lol.

On a side note, my illustration’s still ongoing, stalled a bit but I will eventually finish it sooner or later!
